MYRA RYAN
Ms Ryan has been painting for more than thirty years. She currently works with watercolor, soft and oil pastels and mixed media. Myra studied with Jean Uhl Spicer, AWS, NWS, and award winning pastelist Julie Friedman, PSA.

She has been juried into numerous shows throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania and exhibited in two-person exhibitions in Cooperstown, New York and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. In New Jersey, Ms Ryan has had solo exhibitions in Riverton, Pemberton, the Palmyra Cove Education Center and Home Fine Art Gallery in Mt. Holly. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA and numerous private collections.

Ms Ryan is a member of the Burlington County Art Guild, the Artists’ Circle, Mainline Art Center, Willingboro Art Alliance and is a charter member and vice president of the New Jersey Pastel Painters Society.

Myra especially enjoys encouraging others to use art as a means of personal expression and teaches oil and soft pastel painting in her studio. When not painting or teaching, Myra Ryan can be found in her garden “painting with flowers”.
